This Privacy Policy details our practices concerning data collection, storage, and processing when using the Rostey platform, mobile applications, and web services.

2. Information We Collect

To provide smart rostering, time verification, and payroll synchronization, we collect:

• Account Details: Names, contact phone numbers, corporate email addresses, and billing records.
• Workforce Profiles: Employee classifications, pay rates, certified qualifications (e.g. RSA, WWCC), and department assignments.
• Time & Attendance Data: Clock-in timestamps, GPS coordinates during mobile shift punches, tablet kiosk photo verification records, and approved meal breaks.

3. Location & GPS Data Handling

GPS geofence data is only recorded at the precise instant of a clock-in or clock-out event to confirm attendance on designated work premises. Rostey does not track continuous background location while employees are off shift or on unpaid breaks.

4. Data Hosting & Australian Data Residency

All Australian customer data is securely encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), hosted in ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certified data centres located within Sydney, Australia.
